My Process Of Making A Wedding Album With Printique By Adorama

SO I first want to start by saying I knew I wanted to create a wedding album ever since we got our photos back, but life of course got busy and I kept putting it off! Oh, I will do it in the wintertime or when work slows down… well that didn’t happen so it got pushed to the spring and so on and so on.

I even contemplated printing the photos and making an old fashion wedding book like my parents, but it wasn’t until I discovered Printique By Adorana when I actually sat down and dedicated the time to putting it together and I am so happy I did so. SO, right before our one-year anniversary I made it a goal to have the booked finished before which is what I did!

I am a bit of a perfectionist to say the least, so I knew I wanted to use a company that was reputable and allowed me to customize it the way I wanted it to look with great quality as well. With that being said, my project probably took me longer than the average person because I dissected each photo out of my 3,000+ wedding gallery thanks to my photographer who knew my love for photos.

Luckily, the process of designing a wedding album with Printique By Adorana online was seamless and user friendly. It allowed me to upload high-res images straight from my photographer’s online gallery, plus if you do not want to completely customize each page from scratch, there is a feature that allows you to use templates to create each spread.

I struggle with graphic design and am more of a hands-on person, so throughout the process of making my wedding album I had a few questions and wanted to bounce some design ideas off the design experts at Printique By Adorana – they were was super helpful and knowledgeable! Like I wasn’t sure if I would like the look of mixing black and white photos with color photos on the same page or using photos I love as a full page spread but I ended up loving both looks!

Once I ordered my book it took about 3 weeks so come in which I thought was great timing. I am SO impressed with how it turned out… the printing quality almost looks clearer than the digital version which I didn’t know was possible.

For book and ordering details I got the 10X10 leather lux album which I think is the perfect size. The cover is white leather bound with rounded corners and I got gold stamping with our names and date on the front. As far as paper, there were a ton of options, so I had to ask which was the most popular and went with the contemporary slim and luster finish. The pages are very firm but not too thick!

My book is just under 70 pages but you can add as many as you want, and I made it in chronological order to tell the story of our day from start to finish. I used my photographer’s categories to help build what I wanted – starting with the getting ready photos, detail shots, portraits, first look, bridal party and so on. So happy with how it looks and highly recommend!
