    Our Kentucky Wedding 7.31.21

I cannot believe that it has almost been six months since our wedding! I feel like I could write a 10-page blog post on all things wedding details, advice to future brides, and all the crazy ins and outs of the planning process but I will try my best to give you an overall view and a giant photo dump to do the trick! GETTING READY I was surprisingly overall calm the morning of our wedding, except for the slight chance of rain so I was obsessively checking the forecast. I loved getting ready and having all my best girls all in the same room with me. I had my…

Why I Finally Hired A Wedding Planner

I am writing this post wedding but have had many many thoughts on this topic over the past year! Let’s start with right around the time we got engaged! So many people started with congrats and ended with “you’re going to LOVE wedding planning!” I truly thought I would since I love planning events and am a detail oriented person. However, I was very wrong… for a while I thought something was wrong with me – why didn’t I like wedding planning after so many people told me how much fun it was going to be! We were engaged for right around one year and I fully planned on doing…

    Wedding Band Shopping With JamesAllen.com

We are officially two months out from our big day and things are definitely starting to feel more “real” as we started to pick out our wedding bands together! Our Experience With JamesAllen.com We first started wedding band shopping back in January and casually browsed at a few local places around Kentucky and I liked the bands I tried on but none of them gave me the "wow factor." I also always had JamesAllen.com in the back of my mind which is where Connor got my engagement ring from in DC. I knew I wanted a band that would stack nicely up against my current ring and match the 18K…

However, I recently discovered a new show called The Chosen which has been quite the opposite.

For all my brides to be out there or those who just love wearing white - - this one is for you! I have been overwhelmed by the number of white outfits a bride needs... showers, bachelorettes, luncheons, rehearsal dinner., etc. and especially one who is balling on a budget!

Cancun Mexico Recap: Finest Playa Mujeres

Recently, I took a trip to Mexico for my best friends wedding... if your friends are considering a destination wedding I highly recommend! This was my first time experiencing an all-inclusive resort and we stayed at the Finest Playa Mujeres in Cancun. I have received a lot of questions on my opinion of the resort and if I recommend it for a family trip, honeymoon, etc. so here are my overall thoughts!

Sending Love The Old School Way

Please look at how cute this pack of cards is that I just got from Hallmark! I got a large pack of "just because/everyday" cards to send to my friends and families to share some extra positivity in their life. I started writing a few cards to my friends who I have not been able to see in a long time due to Covid and told them how much I miss and appreciate them!

Prepping My Skin For Winter With Follain

If you love learning about Skincare as much as me, you are in for a treat! I was introduced to Follain about 2 years ago when I moved to the DMV area. My roommate at the time loved clean beauty and I would always see the products in our bathroom! There is also a store close by in Bethesda that I went to an event at last summer and instantly fell in love.
